PROJECTS AND PROGRAMS

The global advocacy for transition from environment unfriendly fossil fuels to cleaner and less polluting energy is gathering momentum and gaining impetus. Apart from being detrimental to the environment, traditional fossil fuels are becoming ever more expensive - to the detriment of family incomes, corporate bottom lines and the budget of social organizations such as schools and healthcare services. To help to ameliorate the situation, we are announcing our program initiatives that are aimed to enable homes, schools , and healthcare facilities to rapidly transit from polluting and expensive energy sources to cleaner and more cost effective solar PV electricity. We develop the systems and provide schools, healthcare services and homes with the options on how they wish to acquire and use the energy.

Solar4Schools

Modern education is increasingly dependent on electrically powered learning and testing tools like computers, virtual writing boards, demonstration tools, wired/wireless communication systems etc. Computer Based Testing (CBT), for example, is increasingly becoming the standard mode of school examinations. This makes the acquisition of modern teaching and

testing tools mandatory for all schools.

Given that these tools are electricity powered implies that the supply of electricity has to guaranteed in present day schools. Not having access to electricity would mean students being left behind the learning curve. But absolutely, no child has to be to left behind their peers as modern learning and testing methods evolve.

Unfortunately, public electricity supply is increasing more expensive. And in some places, power outages, lasting many hours or days, are common. Similarly, the cost of diesel used for self-generated electricity keeps getting more expensive. This makes both public grid electricity and self-generated electricity not to be the most sustainable options for the school system due to their cost and reliability issues. Rooftop solar photovoltaic is possibly the most practical way to produce clean, grid quality electricity by schools,

without incurring addition cost constraints such as land acquisition cost. Our Solar for Schools (S4S) program is planned to place 6KW-10KW of solar modules on the rooftop of every school aims to bring clean, non-polluting and reliable electricity to schools in a quick, cost effective and sustainable manner, irrespective of their geographical locations. S4S will serve as a potent catalyst for the modernization of the schools learning system. Schools have the options to acquire and own the system, procure it on lease or to pay only for the electricity they use.

Furthermore, as bona fide members of the global community, the school system, whether public or private, is duty bound to join in the global momentum to decarbonize, and to meet their obligatory global climate change and energy transition mandates, as have been repeatedly emphasized in the various resolutions of the COP28 summits.

Solar4Health

Modern healthcare practice is almost impossible without the supply of electricity. From simple lighting, to the functioning of medical diagnostic tools, electrical energy is a basic necessity. Medical emergencies occur at any time. Hence, hospitals, maternity homes and medical clinics operate day and night, round the clock. In maternity homes, pregnant women become due for deliveries and have to be delivered of

babies even in the dead of the night. Unfortunately, in many places, especially in rural areas, electricity is either unreliable or not available. In such situations, it is common place for doctors and midwives in hospitals and maternity houses to depend on candle light for their night time work. This often leads to tragic complications and even fatalities. In many places public grid electricity is either erratic or is getting more expensive. There is also no relieve from gas or diesel powered generators as the prices of both gas and diesel keeps rising. These situations places serious strains of budgetary outlays of many health care facilities.
Solar electricity is a practical and cost effective way to produce clean, grid quality electricity by hospitals, maternity homes and healthcare facilities irrespective of where they are located. The incorporation of Battery Energy Storage

Systems (BESS) into the solar system ensures that electricity is always available whenever required. Our Solar for Health (S4H) program aims to bring clean, non-polluting, reliable and cost effective electricity to hospitals, maternity homes and clinics anywhere, anytime. The systems could either be wholly paid for and owned by the facility owners, or it could be lease acquired. We could also develop the system and supply the electricity generated on Power Purchase Agreement terms. In terms of their social responsibilities to the environment, our Solar for Health project works to accelerate the transition of health care facilities to cleaner energy sources, thereby assisting them to reduce their carbon emission footprints.

One Million Sun Roofs

There could hardly be any comfortable living in any home, anywhere, without electricity, in today’s world of ubiquitous connectivity. For many homes, life without electricity is inconceivable. Electricity has to be available – every home demands it. Usually, homes rely on public grid supplied electricity. However, unforeseen disasters could

happen and the grid collapse –sometimes for prolonged periods. Also, to meet increasing operational cost, electricity utilities hike the cost of electricity. This puts pressures on the income of families who have to pay more to use electricity.
In some other places, public electricity may be in short supply, resulting to incessant outages or it may not be available at all. In such situations families are compelled to operate portable power generators that run on gas, diesel or petrol. These are both expensive and highly polluting energy feedstock. Dependence on them for electricity is detrimental to both the health and financial wellbeing of families.
As the world wages a concerted war to mitigate global warming and climate change, homes and families have to be encourage to ditch environment harming fossil

fuels and transit to cleaner sources of electricity. This works for the good of all, Our Im sun roof programs aims to achieve these purposes. Solar generated electricity has not only achieved price parity with traditional generation methods, it is way cheaper and much more sustainable than home diesel/gas/petrol generator electricity. Our 1m sun roof program provide families and home owners flexible options. They could acquire and own the system, procure it on lease or choose to procure the electricity from us.

Ownership and Use Options

We provide schools, healthcare facilities, residential homes and offices with flexible options to transit from fossil fuels and to go solar.

They can choose to wholly own the system. In which case we design and built the systems to their specifications and expense. They could also choose to lease the system. They may also not want to o be involve with the generation system but just want to use the generated energy . For these customers we could develop the system and avail them the generated energy on Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) terms.

INVEST IN A SOLAR PROGRAM TODAY

The cost of solar; modules and battery storage systems is becoming much more affordable as the demand for non-polluting energy increases. The projection is that renewable energy, especially solar renewable will be the preferred choice of energy for many homes, offices and businesses within a decade or two. This makes investing in solar a wise decision. We accept funds from individuals and organizations willing to partner and work with us on any of our solar project or program. We are disposed to negotiating an agreeable rate of returns for any invested funds. Investing in renewable energy is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the global climate change mitigation efforts. It is a decision that brings both satisfactions and competitive returns on the investment made.
