CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS & SERVICES
Electricity is the unavoidable energizer of modern time activities. We have a long history in the delivery of conventional electrical power supply schemes. We offer a rich portfolio of engineering, procurement and construction services on conventional power projects ranging from high tension power transmission and low tension distribution schemes, to rural electrification, external facility electrification and street lightening projects.
Power Transmission Services
We build and commission extra-high tension 330KV transmission lines and their associated MV transformers and control systems on turn-key Engineering, Procurement and Construction terms for states and generating utilities. Every material, component and technology we used is best in class, and is sourced from among the most reputable producers. We professionally integrate all disparate systems, subsystems and units, into an integral power transmission network; ensuring seamless and efficient power transmission operations.
Power Distribution Services
We work with state entities and power utilities to deliver all levels of electrical power distribution projects. We build and commission 33KVA/11KVA distribution projects, ranging from transformer substations to measuring and control centers and over head power lines. In densely developed urban centers where space and aesthetics are paramount, and in localities prone to vandalizations, we are able to develop underground trenching networks – for enhanced street aesthetics and for the security of power lines.
Urban & Rural Electrification
We undertake the construction of urban and rural electrification projects. We engage and work with state entities, power utilities, communities, and businesses to design, construct and commission township, rural community and facility wide electrification projects. We are able to deliver every electrification project; from material procurement, transformers and poles mounting to power line stringing and project commissioning, to specification and budget cost. We also provide operations and maintenance services.
Street & External Electrification
When the sun goes down, moon light is often not enough to provide the level of illumination desired. Nighttime darkness and absence of light not only restraints activities, it could also be a major security vulnerability, and a safety risk for live and properties. This is why highways, city and township streets, estates, and business complexes are mandatorily provided with nighttime electrification. We build and commission street lightening and the external electrification of facilities and complexes.
SOLAR RENEWABLE SYSTEMS AND SERVICES
Our renewable energy portfolio is extensive. It includes solar photo Voltaic (PV) systems and services ranging from residential (5KV-25KV), commercial (30KV-500KV), and Industrial and Utility (1MW- 250+MW) projects. Solar projects could be stand alone or grid-connected.
Residential Solar Development
Solar photovoltaics are the most deployed renewable generation systems for residential and business offices. They combine versatility, aesthetics, portability and scalability. We design and build grid/ off-grid, ground/roof mounted, residential Solar PV systems that are tailor-made to clients specifications . Roof mounted systems could be retro-fits or Building Integrated (BIPV), and may be of standard silicon or thin-film technology.
Commercial Solar Development
Energy cost is a critical determinant of the profitability of many businesses. As public traded electricity keeps rising businesses and commercial undertakings concerned with their bottom lines are forced to considered other available alternatives. Whether the consideration is price or conservation, solar electricity is a competitive alternative. We work with enterprises and businesses to develop commercial scale (50KV+) solar systems and solutions.
Utility Solar Development
Whether it is to diversify their energy mix, or to speed up the deployment of new plants, there are compelling reasons for industries and utilities to choose solar. As present day studies are showing, utility scale solar is outperforming both hydro, coal and gas-turbine systems in cost, in the price of their generated electricity, and in the speed of deployment. We build and commission solar farms for utilities, manufacturing and mining operation,. and provide post construction management services if requested.
Agric-Voltaic Schemes
Utility level solar requires large acreages of land. Except for deserts areas, land could be scarce and expensive, and be demanded and required for other purposes like real estate and agriculture. This could pose problems and conflicts. Agric-Voltaic integrates solar development with traditional crop farming or livestock rearing. We work with utilities and commercial farms to develop agric-voltaic schemes that combine solar and agriculture.
Floating Solar Schemes
Floating Photovoltaic (FPV) solar systems are developed on off-shore or on-shore bodies of water. Unlike land that is of limited availability, water spaces are vast. Floating Photovoltaics are proven as providers of very large-scale energy. FPV developments could range from small-scale (50KWp-500KWp) plants, to utility-scale plants of several hundreds of Megawatts-power. On-shore floating solar plants could be located on varied types of in-land water bodies like rivers, lakes, lagoons, dams, natural or man-made reservoirs etc, while off-shore FPV’s could be near coastal shore lines or further off-shore. We design, develop and commission FPV schemes for power utilities, oil and gas companies and coastal communities.
Solar Street & Traffic Lightening
Solar PV is the quickest and most cost-effective way of providing street lightening and the external illumination of facilities and complexes. They are more potable, more cost effective and require much less maintenance. In rural areas and locations where grid electricity is not available, they provide illumination , improve security, and enhance nighttime activities. Solar is also an ideal system for powering public traffic light systems and security cameras. In remotely located towns that are not connected to public grid, solar is often the only practical way to power traffic light systems. We construct and commission solar street lights and solar powered traffic light systems for public and private client
Solar Car Ports and traffic lights
As the automobile industry goes electric, the demand for private and public car charging ports is growing. Private and commercial car ports could be set-up to serve dual purposes. They generate on/off grid electricity where roof-top space is inadequate or is unsuitable, and also, provide electricity for charging of automobiles, whether located in private facilities or in public places. Conventional gas stations could also be remodeled to incorporate solar charging points, to service hybrid vehicles. We build and commission solar car ports of various sizes that are tailored to meet the requirements of private residences, communal estates, office complexes and public charging avenues.
Battery storage systems
Due to emerging excellent Battery Management System (BMS) technology, the efficiency, safety and durability of battery storage systems have greatly improved. Whether stand alone or grid connected, solar schemes are now increasingly incorporating battery storages. Storage systems are usually designed for scalability and serve all categories of solar generation; residential, commercial and utility. While battery technology keeps evolving, lithium based technology dominates. We source our battery storage systems from among the global industry leaders. Generally, we deploy Lithium based systems for residential and commercial solar projects, and flow systems for utility scale solar projects
